Published on nov 1 2016 welcome back to the palace of the dead playing floors 51 to 60 and talking about the patch 3 45 patch notes as well as my general thoughts and impressions of the update.
Floors 1 10 and 51 60 ffxiv.
The reason for this is because you don t take into account the fact that when for instance you need 2 333 runs to level from 51 to 52 the rest of the exp from that specific run the leftover 0 667 is added to lvl 52 but with only lvl 51 run s exp.
Once player cleared floor 50 the real thing begins in fact from my own experience the most played and experience awarding stage in regard of time needed to complete it is 50 60.
The first step is floor 1 to 10 the second 11 to 20 and so on until level 200 with a boss every 10 floors.

If you ran 51 100 with the same time taken across all sets sub 15 minute runs on each floor then yes it d be faster.
After 10 10 grind floors 1 50 until 40 40 ish.
But the risk of a wipe isn t worth it.
If one happens then the time wasted would make 51 60 only spam.
91 100 has a multiplier of 2 6x.

51 100 should only take 12 minutes per 10 floors with a fixed party of tank healer dpsx2 you just pull the whole floor to the carin of passage extra if it s a big floor and you hit the passage early.

Step 1 pass 51 60 at least once step 2 once step 2 is completed you have to reset your progress when you talk to the potd npc step 3 once you reset your progress you can choose to start from floors 1 or 51.

Those four sets of floors have a multiplier of 1 8x just like floors 21 30 and 31 40.
